You're mid-error, mid-doc, mid-answer, and something is worth keeping — a prompt you'll want again, a stack trace, the follow-up question you thought of while reading. Saving it means stopping what you're doing, finding somewhere to put it, and coming back. So you don't. And it's gone.

Plux: double-tap Shift and whatever's selected is saved — you never left the window. Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+I does the same for a region of the screen, so the error you're looking at goes in the same place as the text.

Later, one click puts it into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, Codexia, or your terminal — not copied to your clipboard for you to paste. Actually placed: Plux opens the app, waits until it's really frontmost, focuses the input, and drops the text in. Window focused, text placed, ready to send. It never hits Enter for you, and your previous clipboard comes back afterwards.

Neither half is new on its own. Together they're the reason you'll actually use it: capture is cheap enough that you do it, and getting it back out is cheap enough that what you captured doesn't rot in a list you never open.

Everything you save lands in one list, not a pile. Sort it into folders per project, pin what matters, tick off what's done, and filter by the app it came from. Done with something? Archive it or send it to trash — it stays out of your way without you second-guessing whether you actually needed it.

And it works the same on Windows as it does on macOS. Tools in this shape are almost always Mac-only; if you've watched one go past and couldn't buy it, this is the one you can. Same shortcuts, same one-click send, native on both.
